Gadgetren – Now you can use your own photos as stickers in WhatsApp instant messaging app. But how does it work?
As previously announced, the service under the auspices of Facebook Inc. has introduced a sticker function in the latest version of its app. For those of you who couldn’t update from the Google Play Store, you can download them from this page.
Interestingly, not only can you use the standard stickers, but you can also use your own stickers with the photos you have. For those who don’t know how to do that, check out the following review.
How to make stickers from your own photos on WhatsApp
- First, remove the photo background using the photo editing app
- In addition, you can also add text to the photo and save it in PNG format
- Download the personal stickers for the WhatsApp app from the Google Play Store
- Open the app and select the button ADD in the folder, the place where you saved your original picture
Once you’re done, you can use the sticker in WhatsApp as you normally would. All you have to do is tap the button to add an emoji and then select the sticker icon next to the GIF icon.
For those of you who don’t know how to remove the background, you can use PicsArt Photo Studio to do it. This application is available for free or for free with ads that can be removed by subscribing to the premium version.
In the PicsArt app, select +. Button, and then select All Photos to search for photos. Next, select the photo that you want to use as a sticker. Once opened, select the option from the menu at the bottom Cut out.
Next, select the icon on the right (the person-shaped icon). Click the cross-eye icon to see the cleanliness of the cut. You can edit it by swiping over the part you want to delete. When you’re done, click Save on computer.
If you want, you can add text or other elements from the menu in the image editor. When you’re done, you can tap the arrow icon in the top right corner. Choose an option Save as sticker, and click TO SAVE. If you see multiple options, click Save on computer and click complete.
It should be noted that you need to create at least three stickers to be used as stickers on WhatsApp. In addition, you need to use the latest version of WhatsApp which is version 2.18.339. Keep in mind that the latest version on the Google Play Store is not necessarily that version.
